Bouncing back

First meeting with Mr Sng after the semis result was released.

Everyone was disappointed but no one was saying it out. We talked about our why we had failed, but more importantly, we understood that we will finish up with what we started off with. The meeting only lasted 30 minutes, but essentially we all knew exactly what we had to do next.

We didn't make it but this is will be a small part because what is at the finishing line is what that is more important, and the race is not yet over. The race is far from over, and hopefully we'll run finish this race together.

Cheer up =)

2nd visit to FeiYue

Today was the second visit we made to Fei Yue and to my very delight, everyone was able to make it. When we first got there, I sort of had a little stage fright. There were nervy moments even before we met the children.

The very moment we stepped into the classroom i felt all my emotions simply let out. There was a strong passion and urge to have fun with these children and make friends with them. In a way, our initial plan for an introductory lesson was replaced by a ice breaking session, but it was indeed worth the change. The time we spent there was certainly very short but very valuable indeed. As I saw the children leave the classroom to go home with their parents, their was a clear and distinct expression from the children that they wanted us to be there to play with them again. That sort of gave me reason for what I was doing.

Today's session went really well, and hopefully there will be better lessons and meeting ahead. ^^

2nd Visit to our Beneficiary

Today was our first visit to Fei Yue Early Intervention Centre.I have to say that it was indeed an eye-opener, considering that this was my first time actually getting to see these children with Autism, and actually working with them for the first time in my life. From the looks of today, I guess we still have a lot more to learn about what to do with communicating with them, and when carrying out our lesson plans. Of course, I'm sure that we will eventually work things out as we proceed with our sessions.

Today is but the first step, I'm sure that the project will be a successful, and benefit both us and the kids at feiyue.

Regards
Joseph
